Common issues
I can't log in
Check that you're using the username you signed up with (not your email — for now). Tap "Forgot password?" on the login screen, or email support@barrackslife.com with the email tied to your account.
I want to delete my account
Open the app → HQ tab → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your matches lose access to your profile within minutes; your data clears from active systems within 30 days.
I'm not getting matches
Three things to check: (1) you have at least 3 photos and a real bio, (2) your filters aren't too narrow (try widening the age range and distance), (3) verification is complete — verified profiles surface higher in the deck.
I want a refund
Plus and Premium subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so refunds go through them — not us. Apple's refund instructions. Google's refund instructions.
I want to report a user
Inside the app: tap the "•••" menu on any profile, post, or chat → Report. Or email safety@barrackslife.com with as much detail as you can.
I'd like a Verified Vet badge
Open the app → HQ tab → Verification. Submit a redacted DD-214 (cover all SSNs) or verify your .mil email. Manual review usually takes 2–5 business days.
